"It all started when my hubby gave me a hand written certificate at Christmas for a new island countertop. We wanted to see if we could be happy with just replacing the island. We wanted to keep our backsplash and we were afraid that removing the perimeter counters would damage the custom painted mural.

We wanted something that would work with the existing tumbled marble backsplash. I researched and landed on Inspiration from the Brilliance Collection with Spectrum Quartz. I find myself just standing and staring! We are so in love with our kitchen…..again! We built in 2004, and updated counters in 2023! It’s amazing how paint and new quartz counters can totally transform a space without a complete demo."
